What it does:
Smart Shock® is the preferred shock product for the BioGuard® Care System. Weekly use of Smart Shock® keeps the water crystal blue and sparkling. It oxidizes organic contaminants that cause cloudy water, musty odors and eye irritation. It also kills bacteria and algae, and clarifies the water using a filter enhancer. Smart Shock® buffers the pH to provide brilliantly clear water with no cloudy residue and without increasing the pH.
